Get i touchInspiration: This illustration was inspired by the vibrant, busy and exciting street in Dalston, East London. The illustration of the Bag Lady was taken from an original, old school Londoner, dressed in bright funky clothes, extraverted, cool, and had a power about her. She represented what makes Dalston this vibrant place full of dance, music, culture and Diversity. I wanted to focus on her, and all the shapes and colour that surround her represent the energy that captivates the essence of Dalston. Bold, fun, inconspicuous.

Get i touchInspiration: Dalston high street was full of diverse fashion statements and colour. I would be walking down the street, turn my head and capture composition of buildings and people together. Even if they were not dressed in colour, I gave them colour, because this is how the people are, they want to be different, they want to stand out. Even in the most subtle ways, you feel as-well as see it.

Get i touchInspiration: My shopping bag after the visitng the food market was always filled with a bag full of fruit and veg. I would always be in awe of all these colours that were popping in my home. This illustration was inspired by simply adirming the colours of the fruit, just as I laid my bag onto the table, some rolled out, some were plated up, and there was sp much beauty in this.
